Events & Programs
The Greater Orlando Affiliate Chapter of the National Black Child Development Institute hosts a dynamic array of monthly meetings, events, and programs, all designed to create a vibrant platform for community engagement, education, and empowerment.
Every month, the organization convenes inclusive and informative meetings that bring together parents, educators, community leaders, and advocates.
The organization recognizes the significance of involving the community in its initiatives. Community engagement events are organized to strengthen bonds, raise awareness, and promote inclusivity. These events are aimed to bring families, educators, and local leaders together to celebrate diversity and the power of education.
The chapter is actively involved in community outreach programs aimed at making a positive impact on the lives of young Black children beyond educational settings. These programs may include mentorship initiatives, book drives, and partnerships with local businesses to provide resources for families in need.
